We offer duplex spring loaded D. C. Fail safe disc brakes. The various features are:

❖ Brake hub and linner disc splined hence no jerks, soft start and soft stop.

❖ Fast switching time, very easily replaces troublesome a. C. Disc brakes.

❖ Continously rated, no coils burn-outs like a. C. Brakes, hence less down time maintenance.

❖ Brake provided with dust protecting rubber seal.

❖ The brake virtually requires no maintenance.

❖ Compact size d. C. Step down rectifier unit. Very reasonably priced.

❖ Brake can be mounted in any position.

D C switching of brakes

❖ Switching on d. C. Side at nominal airgap and coil at nominal temperature enables short engagement and disengagement time.

❖ D. C, side switching requires provision of universal spark suppressor and capacitor to protect coil switches against damage.

❖ Speed of engagement / disengagement depends on release distance (air-gap)
