Objective

To transform and correct the shape of the abdomen to a firmer one by removing excess fat and skin. Tightening the abdominal wall muscles and restoring weakened or separated muscles.

Who can need

All Women and men with an out of proportion abdomen caused due to excess of skin and fat in this area or due to abdominal muscles that have been separated and weakened, specifically seen in some women after pregnancy.

Procedure and Duration

A horizontal incision equivalent to the amount of skin to be removed is made just above the pubic area and the excess skin is then pulled down. The navel is re positioned aesthetically. The whole process culminates in 2 to 4 hours.

Anesthesia

Only when the abdominal muscle wall needs tightening, General anesthesia is utilized, else local anesthesia with sedation is administered.
