The 612 EX has the ability to filter small utility line fluctuations and isolate your equipment from large internal disconnection disruptions to the service line while powering its internal batteries until the power line Utility returns to secure levels. The internal alarm will beep periodically. If the power supply does not return, the inverter will continue to power the connected equipment until it is exhausted. A continuous beep will sound two minutes before the inverter is turned off.
