We have in our store for the prestigious clients a innovative range of Rising Film Evaporators. These products are known as a vertical tube with steam condensing on its outside surface. Furthermore, the liquid inside the tube is brought to a boil that facilitates the vapor generated forming a core in the center of the tube. When the fluid moves up the tube, more vapor is formed resulting in a higher central core velocity, due to which, the remaining liquid is forced to the tube wall. The use of higher vapor velocities in turn result in thinner and more rapidly moving liquid film.

How it works:

In Rising Film Evaporators, Steam condenses on outside surface of vertical tubes. The liquid inside the tubes is brought to a boil, with the vapour generated occupying the core of the tube. As the fluid moves up the tube, more vapours is formed, resulting in a higher central core velocity that forces the remaining liquid to the tube wall. This leads to the thinner and more rapidly moving liquid film resulting in higher heat transfer co-efficient and lower residence time.
