CSIR-CFTRI invites application for joining as Research Fellows in Science and Engineering from students who have qualified for JRF of CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR or having INSIRE/RGNF/MAzF/WOS/CSIR& ICMR SRF/FIP of Universities and R&D organizations.
Students can pursue Ph.D. program in Engineering as well as in Science like Applied Botany / Biochemistry / Bioscience / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Food Science / Food Technology / Food Science & Nutrition/ Microbiology.
Eligibility :
Ph.D in Science: M.Sc/ M.Tech in related field with any of the above mentioned valid fellowships.
Ph.D. in Engineering: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech with valid fellowship.
Ph.D Admission : Those who join as research fellows need to clear an interview which will be announced time to time for getting admission to Ph.D. program under either AcSIR or University.

Eligible students may visit this site, search the staff information under various R&D departments and correspond with suitable Scientists. On mutual agreement submit an application through the prospective guide with bio-data, mark lists, fellowship letter to Ph.D. coordinator, HRD, CFTRI, Mysore. On approval by the Director they can join as Research Fellow. This is open through out the year.
