Arsenic contamination in ground water causes a big problem to the ground water based water supply to the rural population. Water containing Arsenic beyond the permissible level can not be used for drinking and cooking and needs to be eliminated to the desired level ( 0.01ppm ) before drinking and cooking. The Arsenic removal filters designed by H2O work s on the principle of adsorption by using specially designed Activated Alumina as adsorbent. The Activated Alumina selectively adsorbs soluble Arsenic from water and make the water free from Arsenic.
