Hydraulic pneumatic cylinders guarantee a stable speed of pneumatic cylinders during their working cycle. Faulty and jerky speed due to resistances like violent impacts and vibrations, can result in severe damage of the tools. The hydraulic speed regulators manages to stabilize the speed and, with the use of control valves, avoids dead times warranting perfectly repeatable stops independendently from the applied load. The adjustment can be made during the piston rod thrist phase, retract phase pr both.
