The OPTIMAX Gear Unit provides an efficient and simple drive for all slow running equipment. The Gear Units are manufactured with output torque from 80 to 5000 Nm with reduction ratio from 1.84 to 7482. These units are available in all the most usual designs like Foot, Flange, Foot-cum-Flange and extended shaft and hub mounted (Agitator) types. Flange mounted designs are available with more than one size of flanged end covers.

The gears and bearings are lubricated with splash lubrication which provides ample and positive flow of oil to all gears and bearings. Positive seals prevent oil leakage which is again ensured with the provision of special oil seals or double oil seals for certain types of mounting.
