The surface set bits offered by us have specific applications in soft to medium hard formations. These surface set bits are manufactured using diamonds that are individually set on the matrix. The mold is then subject to a thermal treatment assuring metallurgical bond of the matrix on to the steel blank.

We utilize high quality diamonds such as processed drill or West-African diamond to manufacture our range of surface set bits. These diamonds are mechanically rounded creating oval stones which offer best resistance against shock loading. The mechanical rounding process eliminates diamonds that are weakened due to fissures and cleavages. The diamonds are then chemically treated to reduce friction between the diamond and rock being cut.
