This fence is designed to protect villages located in the forest or nearby forest areas. Main threat to the villagers shall be from Elephant’s, Tiger’s, Leopard’s, Rhinoceros’s, Striped Hyena’s, Wild Boar’s, and Wild Bear’s. In general the fence shall consist of 12 strands from ground level with height of fence about 6 feet. Recommended posts for the fence construction shall be Galvanized MS Iron of 8 feet length. Fence may also have elephant capping to protect metal posts from elephants.
