Dehydrated Limes (DHL) can be easily produced from selected yellow limes that do not have any external blemishes. Limes are specially dipped and treated in hot water so as to remove oil that causes bitterness. Further, the fruits are carefully loaded on to SS trays, are stacked in trolleys, and later are pushed into a tunnel dryer. The fruits are also subjected to careful and controlled hot steam blast that functions in continuous circulation. Hygienically processed, the fruits are efficiently packed in quality poly bags and are then sealed. Purpose: DHLs are a superb thirst quenchers for hot countries like gulf where fresh Lime fruits are not available. The lime fruit is crushed in hand and is dipped into about 200 ml. warm/cold water according to the choice of our clients. After 15 minutes a tasty lime flavored beverage is ready for drinking. We can continuously add more water to the same glass of fruit depending upon the concentration.
