Biochemical and Synthetic Products Ltd (BSPL)- A Public Limited Company began its journey in the year 1943 by manufacturing quality formulations / Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Drug Intermediates. From modest beginnings, with a small client base, the company has today grown to a position of eminence and has to its credit a long list of prominent clients. Its exemplary performance for three consecutive years has prompted the Government of India to award it the status of “EXPORT HOUSE” - a privilege enjoyed only by high performers. Today, BSPL exports to many countries spread across the globe - France, Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Columbia, Spain and Jordan to name a few. BSPL is renowned for its pioneering efforts in developing and manufacturing life saving “anti-TB Drugs” way back from 1956.

Quality- The Company manufactures a wide range of API’s / formulations and prides itself on the fact that quality has always been its key driver of growth. The company has been accredited with an ISO - 9001 Certificate - a true testimony to its claim on quality. This Certificate of Quality issued by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) has given the company greater leverage with its highly valued international clients.

Management / Infrastructure- BSPL, headquartered at Hyderabad with its branch office at Mumbai, is run by a team of accomplished highly qualified Technical & Commercial professionals. The manufacturing and administrative facilities are located in the prime industrial area of Sanathnagar / Balanagar with an installed capacity of 373 MT per annum and the main factory is very close to the railway stations, airport and main national highways. BSPL follows strictly cGMP guidelines at all levels of production operations of its products and the quality is assured, but conforming to IP/BP/USP/EP specifications supported by stringent internal specifications. Apart from regular power supply, BSPL has its own captive power plant that takes care of power irregularities. As a responsible corporate citizen, BSPL has established an effluent treatment plant to reduce pollution levels and has planted more than 500 trees in an effort to maintain ecological balance.
