Available with us the simplest type of Muff Coupling which is manufactured using quality cast iron. It includes a hollow cylinder whose inner diameter is same as shaft and is fitted by a Gib head key over the ends of two shafts. The power is transferred from one shaft to other by a key and a sleeve. All elements must be strong enough to impart the torque. It is made from cast iron into two halves and bolted by high tensile mild steel nuts and bolts. Due to its simple design and compact construction, Muff Couplings don't require the change in position of shafts for their assembling as well as disassembling.
