A R Bitu seal is uniquely formulated pre-faicated waterproofing memane with spun bonded polyester mat as a core. A R Bitu seal has an excellent resistance to weather and ageing. The core of non woven polyester mat offers an excellent tensile streng elongation and a superior lap joint strength. The polymer modification of bitumen with Atactic Polypropylene (APP) results an excellent resistance to hot and cold temperatures. It has following 7 layers sandwiched together. 1 st layer of HMHDPE Plastic film, 2 nd layer of Polymeric Asphalt Mix, 3 rd layer Non Woven Polyester mat, 4 th layer of Asphalt Mix, 5 th layer of HMHDPE Plastic Film, 6 th layer of Polymeric Asphalt mix, 7 th layer HMDPE plastic film. Use of A R Bitu seal forms an impervious, flexible waterproofing layer which can withstand normal movement of structure without showing any deterioration and serve for a prolonged period of time. A R Bitu seal is normally used in protected roofing and waterproofing appcations in a single layer system and is also recommended as base layer in multilayer system in various appcations, Including damp-proofing. Appcation A R Bitu seal memanes are ideal for a wide range of waterproofing appcations including roofs, reservoirs, basements, basement roof, sunken slabs, tunnels, terrace garden and car parking.
