His vast experience and seamless efforts have made us expert of our domain. About the directors Mr. Deen Dayal Daga is the chairman and Managing Director of Our Company. He possesses a vast experience of more than two decades in the field of managing wood panel industries. He was selected as the President of Assam Plywood Manufacturers Association in the year 1995-1996. He has been awarded with several prestigious awards like: Udyogapatra Award from the Vice President of India in 1982 for his achievement as a self made industrialist Swatantra Swarna Jayanti Udyog Vibhushan Award" from the Union Minister of Commerce in 1999 for his contribution to the economic development of the country Melvin Jones fellowship award by Lions Club recognizing his efforts towards social causes Boards Of Directors Our board of directors consists of: Mr. Deen Dayal Daga has an extensive experience of 30 years in managing wood based industries. In the year 2004, he started working in our organization and today, he holding the profile of promoter. He did his graduation in of Laws (LL.B.) and worked as the president of president of Assam Plywood Manufacturers Association during the year 1995-1996. Mr. Daga was also a committee member of Federation of Indian Plywood Panel Industry. Mr. Shyam D. Daga is a commerce graduate from St. Xavier's, Kolkata University and is the Secretary of All India particle board Manufacturer Association . He was involved in the successful turnaround of The Mysore Chipboards Limited (TMCL), which was a closed unit at the time of take over. He was the Director of TMCL from the year 1996 to 2005 and was a committee member of South India Plywood Manufacturers Association. Mr. Rajiv D. Daga is a bachelor in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, USA. He joined the Board of Directors of Archidply Industries Limited in 2004 and presently, committee member of South India Plywood Manufacturers Association. He worked as software consultant with Manhattan Associates, Atlanta, USA from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Krishna Kant Somani is a diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering and did a specialized course in “Plywood and Laminated Technology” conducted by the IPIRIRI, Bangalore in 1970. He has more than ten years of experience in working in the plywood industry. He was the vice president of M/s Mangalam Timber Products Limited, a Birla Group Company. Mr. Mohammed Shahid Aftab, an independent director on our Board, has completed his Masters in Commerce in 1965. He was the Chairman of Geep Industries Limited and subsequently, he worked as General Manager of Punjab National Bank. He was associated with Vijaya Bank as an executive director before joining our company on September 7, 2007. Mr.Narayan Subrao Adkoli, an independent director on our Board, is a Retired Indian Forest Service Officer. He has completed his Bachelors in Science in 1951 and then, post graduation in forestry from The Commonwealth Forestry College, Oxford (United Kingdom) in 1967. Before joining our company on July 5, 1995, he worked as the General Manager of the Western India Plywood Private Limited, Manager-Resource Development in Harihar Polyfibres, Karnataka, and the Joint Managing Director of Karnataka Pulpwood Private Limited. He has also been the Chairman of Treelands Development Services Private Limited, a company offering consultancy services in Environment, Forestry and Wildlife. Mr Kamal Kishore Taparia, an independent director on our Board, did B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from the MBM Engineering College. He joined our company on September 3, 2007 and is on the board of directors of Universal Construction Machinery & Equipment Private Limited. Prior, he worked as the President of Indorama (a SP Lohiya Group Company) and Rasher Cements, where he was in charge of all India sales operations. He also was on the Board of Swastik Group, Saurashtra & Gujarat Sidhee Cements. Mr. Bharathkumar Hukumchand Rathi, an independent director on Our Board, received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Visveshwaraiah Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur in 1969. Before joining our company on September 3, 2007, he was associated with M/s. Delbinco Schwartz and Donatoni, Chicago, USA and M/s. Skidmore, Owings & Merrills Chicago, USA. He has also worked on various interior and architectural projects. We manufacture furniture using renewable plantation timber like eucalyptus , silver oak and poplar, which are grown on the grown on scientific short rotation basis by coffee plantations in Coorg and farmers in Uttaranchal. These timber are processed into panel products like plywood, Block Board, flushdoor and particle Board. part from this, we also use renewable wood to manufacture our items. We take following measure to preserve our environment Planted trees are cut in short repeating cycles. The wood obtained from the trees is converted to veneers or chips. The veneers and chips are processed into panels like Plywood, Block Board, Particle Boards and Fibe Boards. Residual wood material available during manufacture are also used in the board processing. Even the broken parts of furniture can be re-processed into a new board. Within 5-8 years the trees re-grow to their full dimensions. The same piece of land can be planted repeatedly in such short cycles. The trees so grown repeatedly contribute to sustained maintenance of ecological balance and sequestration of carbon in and around the plantations.
