Glass Stems also called Glass base are used to hold the Electron Gun in position and to bring the electrical connections from inside the picture tube .Lead glass tubing is cut for the exhaust tube and for the header ring as oer requirment,the lead wires are spaced as required in the glass and sealed at Dument portion in an indexing machine ,similar to bulb - making.

Capabilities

From 7 to 12 pins , for tubes with diameter 13 mm to 46 mm ,we have 7 stem - making machines giving us flexibility to make a large variety of stems , we also do pre - sealing cutting/ bending of the pins and washing / cleaning allowing the customers to directly use the stems.

We have installed capacity of 3 million Glass Stems per month.

We do 100% on line inspection by microscope dedicated quality inspectors and have all modern Quality equipments to control the quality of goods shipped including camera Profile projectors, strain test , pull test, strength test laser dimension - checking equipment's and other customer - specific quality - control equipments.
