Protec AMES is a Advanced Maintenance-free Earthing Systems that uses UL listed 250 microns copper clad HR steel rods. These are available in ½”, 5/8 “and ¾” diameters and 5 feet, 6 feet and 10 feet lengths. The electrodes are available with both plain and threaded ends. Bronze coupler with threads or compression can be used for joining electrodes for longer lengths. The top end of the rod has a terminal plate of 150x50x5mm exothermically welded or screwed for extending load connection. The lower end has a 2” diameter GI locking plate with two SS nuts to secure the vertical electrode into the ground.
