Shrink Wrap-Product Information

Shrink wrap is also known as shrinkwrap or shrink film. It polymer plastic film which shrinks after heating. This process of shrinkage provides a tight packaging on whatever object it is applied. This is also commonly known as overwrap and is used in a diverse range of packaging such as:

Beverage cans

Large appliances

Pallet loads

Edible items like cheese and meat

Boats after manufacture and also for winter storage

In addition to these, Heat Shrink Tubing is also used to seal electric wiring. A shrink film has the capacity of being molded in one direction (unidirectional or mono-directional) or in both directions (bidirectional).
