- bleaching (whitening). 

whereas the first three treatment modalities do /can alter the shape & size of the teeth, bleaching is the only treatment that is non-traumatic & non-invasive. 

you can bleach your teeth through home bleaching kits or professional office bleaching. 

home bleaching is facilitated by the use of fabricated plastic moulds that fit on top of the teeth as covers with a thin space in between to accommodate the bleaching paste. Two to four hours a day for four to eight weeks the patient must wear these moulds filled with bleaching paste. Though this is a mild bleach so takes longer to achieve whiter teeth.
