COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains :

Ciprofloxacin 2 mg

Sodium chloride 0.9%w/v

Water for injection q.s

CATEGORY: Antibacterial

Floroquinolone antibiotic. Bacterial mode of action.

INDICATIONS: Respiratory tract, Urinary tract, E.N.T., Skin and soft tissues, gastro intestinal tract, intra abdominal gynaenological. Bon and joint and severe systematic infections Gonorrhoea.Ciprofloxacin 400 mg/200 ml IV infusion 12 hourly is indicated for systemic infection, lower respiratory tract infections skin and skin structure infections, typhoid fever, severe complicated urinary tract infections, surgical procedure.

DOSAGE: As Directed by Physician.

STORAGE: Single dose container.

ADVERSE EFFECTS: Hypersenstivity and skin reactions have been associated with Ciprofloxacin and other floroquinolones. Reports have included anaphylaxis(which has been fatal) , serum sickness, toxic epidermal necrolysis.

PRECAUTIONS: Use with caution in patients of renel impairment, cerebral arteriosclerosis or epilepsy.Keep patient well hydrated toprevent crystalluria.
