Overview
Ayurveda is a science of life and not a mere therapy. Ayu means life and veda means knowledge. Ayurveda means Knowledge of Life. Ayurveda was evolved and projected for the relief of the human beings from various miseries. Protecting the health of the healthy person and curing the disease of the sick – these two are the main purposes of this science. Equal emphasis is given upon preventing the diseases as well as curing it.
We at Ahalia understand the real purpose of Ayurveda and aim at spreading the knowledge of Ayurveda by health education and practice. The two purposes for which Ayurveda was evolved, viz. maintenance of health and curing the disease are being rightly conceived and made practical at Ahalia.
Our hospital offers health care facilities at two levels - Swasthya Samvardhana Chikitsa (Scheme for health promotion-rejuvenation) and Roga Prashamana Chikitsa (Curative therapy).
Various treatments that we provide under Swasthya Samvardhana Chikitsa are Snehana and Swedana (external application of oil and fomentation), Panchakarma (the five purification procedures) and Rasayana Chikitsa (rejuvenation therapy).
No service is better than helping an ailing person to get rid of his discomfort. Ahalia gives equal importance to this aspect of Ayurveda and aims at providing Roga Prashamana Chikitsa (treatment facilities) for wide range of diseases mentioned under Astanga Ayurveda. Outpatient and inpatient facilities are available for following conditions - joint and neurological disorders, skin diseases, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, liver disorders, anorectal conditions, disorders of genitourinary tract, obstetric and gynecological conditions, developmental disorders, disorders related to the head, eye and ENT conditions, psychiatric conditions, cardiology, geriatrics and other conditions.
Apart from multi-specialty hospital, we also take pride in our team of doctors and physicians who are well-qualified, trained and experienced in the field of Ayurveda and provide treatments following every ritual of Ayurveda very stringently. Today, owing to our authentic Ayurvedic treatments, well-trained team of specialized doctors and physicians and state-of-the-art hospital infrastructure, we have been able to mark our presence in India as well as abroad.
