This gear is made up of a worm wheel, which consists of a phosphor bronze rim of substantial section welded centrifugally. The center is pressed and key to the shaft. Located for dual purpose, the shafts possess an ample load bearing capacity and have a substantial margin on output shafts for accommodating overhung loads.
