India enacted Competition Cases, 2002 to ensure fair competition among the competitors in the Business and Industry. Even though the Competition law in India is in the initial stage, the Competition Commission of India is able to deliver land mark Judgments to control abuse of dominance and exploitative and exclusionary behaviour of some Corporates. Since India has recently allowed FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in multiple brand retail cases on issues like predatory pricing are expected to increase. The Firm has experience in handling cases both in the Competition Commission of India as well as Competition Appellate Tribunal.
